About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Editor to lead and shape our coverage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on technology, business, and society. The ideal candidate is deeply curious about the evolving AI landscape, from breakthroughs in generative models and agentic systems to ethics, regulation, and real-world adoption - and can translate complex topics into engaging, accessible journalism. Key ResponsibilitiesEditorial Strategy: Develop and execute a content plan covering AI innovation, industry trends, research breakthroughs, and policy developments.Writing & Editing: Write, edit, and fact-check news stories, features, and opinion pieces for clarity, accuracy, and reader engagement.Trend Monitoring: Track emerging developments in AI (e.g., LLMs, robotics, automation, regulation) and identify timely topics for coverage.Audience Growth: Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize reach across platforms (web, newsletter, LinkedIn, X, etc.).Editorial Standards: Uphold high journalistic integrity, accuracy, and neutrality when covering fast-moving AI topics.Reporting at Events: Occasionally represent the publication at industry events, conferences, or press briefings, reporting on the AI ecosystem. Commercial Support: Contribute to client-facing content, which may include conducting interviews, writing sponsored articles, and joining client calls to align on editorial direction and tone.Thought Leadership: Your editorial expertise may also be called upon to help shape or host thought leadership initiatives such as panel discussions, webinars, or podcasts, bringing insight and credibility to conversations about AI and technology. RequirementsExperience: 2+ years of experience in journalism or tech writing (AI/tech focus preferred).Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI technologies, key industry players, and market trends.Skills:Exceptional editing and storytelling abilities.Ability to translate technical content for general audiences.Comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced news cycle.
