You will provide individual and group based sessions designed by our clinicians, assist with equipment and resource management, and support administrative and intake functions that help clients access services smoothly.You will work with older people in the Ageing Well Service, families and children in the Child Health and Development team, and community members accessing counselling and casework support.Key Responsibilities Include Supporting clinicians with preparation and delivery of individual therapy, groups and programs Under supervision, providing additional support to clients participating in group programs Assisting the Occupational Therapist with home visits and equipment related tasks Facilitating pre planned therapy sessions and generating resources Conducting follow up phone calls to clients and stakeholders Assisting with equipment cleaning, storage and maintenance Supporting administrative and quality activities, including client file management Assisting with Intake activities and group registrations Independently running established group sessions if within scope of practiceAbout YouYou are passionate about supporting community members across the lifespan and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment. You bring strong communication skills, problem solving capabilities and a warm, inclusive approach to client care.You will have Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent Understanding of community health principles and the role of AHAs Experience supporting clinicians in individual and group service delivery Ability to work collaboratively and also autonomously Experience working with CALD communities and interpreters Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence with documentationHighly regarded Experience as an AHA within a community health environment Knowledge of funding systems including NDIS, CHSP, SWEP and Community Health Well developed skills in health technologyWhy join us?At NRCH you will be part of a team that is making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
