On behalf of our client, we are actively recruiting candidates for the role of Assistant Financial Controller to join their organization in Grand Cayman.The successful hire will be responsible for assisting with the overall functioning of the financial department for the Cayman Islands.Duties and Responsibilities:Preparation, analysis and presentation of all financial reporting including month end accountsReviewing all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reportsWorking with the various business managers to prepare reportsPrepare quarterly financial statements and report on annual financial plans for both jurisdictionsCoordinate and mange auditsAssisting in the management, coaching and training of the financial departmentManage the payroll functionResponsible for regulatory reportingManage the collection processManage the change and implementation process and develop plans to improve efficiency where neededRequirements:Knowledge and experience with FATCA, CRS reporting and Regulatory filingInternationally recognized professional accounting designation (ACCA, CPA) required3+ years post qualification experienceOn-island experience would be a significant advantageMust be able to demonstrate strong and in-depth knowledge of accounting practicesExceptional analytical skillsUnderstanding of Cayman Islands Government regulations would be beneficialStrong communication, negotiation and presentation skillsIf this opportunity sounds like what you’ve been looking for, then get in touch today to find out more information.
