Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Business Development Associate will ensure that sales pipelines are tracked and are managed efficiently and that clients receive timely follow-ups.Roles and Responsibilities:Assist in maintaining and updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate client and contract information.Support Advisors in the onboarding of their clients to our Investment Bond and Life Income products.Assist the sales team by providing quotes and general product information to our clientsSupport the sales team in identifying potential clients and securing new business opportunities.Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.Provide administrative support to the GM of Distribution, sales team, including assisting with preparing proposals, pitch decks and presentations.Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as reasonably required to support the success of the sales function and broader business initiatives.About youExperience in sales support or similar role within the financial services industry.Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or related discipline or equivalent comparable work experience Understanding of the financial services landscape.Experience in managing client relationships and tracking client agreement renewalsFamiliarity with using CRM tools, to manage pipelines, track activity, and generate reports.Track-record of collaboration with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, product) to achieve business outcomes.SkillsExcellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience delivering client-facing materials or pitches.Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholdersStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales support tools.Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and coordinate responsibilities.
