Cordalba is situated just 15 min drive from the main township of Childers and 30min drive from the city of Bundaberg.This role is permanent part-time, 15 hours per week plus ADO for afternoon shifts (2.30pm to 5.45pm, rostered Monday to Friday.)About The SchoolCordalba State School, established in 1894, provides education for primary students from Prep to Year 6 in the historic township of Cordalba. Our school community is built on the values of safety, responsibility, and respect, with a focus on the importance of participation over winning.About The RoleThe role involves contributing to the efficient and effective operation of the site by providing high-quality cleaning support, ensuring that all duties are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by the supervisor. This includes adhering to the approved school cleaning program to maintain a clean and safe environment.Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Cleaner, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposalMaintain cleanliness in classrooms, toilets, offices, and communal areasEnsure high standards of hygiene and presentation across the schoolSupport basic site security procedures as neededReport any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel Please refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
