Job Description We’re seeking a strategic and commercially minded Commercial & Operations Manager to support our national Energy + Environment business. This is a key role working closely with the Group Director to drive financial performance, manage business operations and enable our teams to deliver impactful work across the energy transition and environmental sustainability sectors. How you’ll make a difference Lead the financial, operational and portfolio management of the Energy + Environment business, including risk management, reporting and initiatives to improve project performance. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, identifying opportunities and contributing to business development and strategic planning. Oversee project governance, quality assurance and compliance, ensuring projects are delivered in line with AECOM standards and frameworks. Provide mentoring and capability development for Project Managers and Project Approvers, to improve team performance and delivery outcomes. Drive process improvements, operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration to enhance client experiences and achieve business objectives. Proven leader in managing project and operational teams, fostering collaboration and driving high-performance outcomes. Strong client management, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships. In-depth knowledge of financial and operational reporting tools with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Highly organised and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving, time management and decision-making abilities.
