Our community is passionate, our point of view is bold, and the opportunity to push our social presence even further is real.We’re looking for a Director of Social Media to define the vision, strategy, and execution for Savage’s social ecosystem. This role ensures our content is culturally relevant, platform-native, and consistently compelling — and that social plays a meaningful role in shaping how the brand shows up in culture.This is a highly visible role for a social leader with deep expertise, strong taste, and the ability to move quickly — someone who can set strategy, elevate content, and build momentum from day one.This position will report to the SVP, Brand MarketingHow You’ll Make An ImpactAs Director of Social Media, you will:Strengthen Savage’s cultural relevance and credibility across social platformsElevate the quality, originality, and consistency of our social contentAccelerate our presence and performance on TikTok as a key growth and relevance platformEstablish social as a creative partner that helps shape ideas, not just distribute themDrive measurable brand and business impact through social content, including engagement, audience growth, cultural relevance, and contribution to broader marketing objectivesWhat You’ll DoSocial Strategy & VisionOwn and evolve a global social media strategy across all channels, balancing a strong centralized brand POV with cultural relevance across key international markets.Define clear, differentiated roles for each platform — with Instagram as the flagship brand expression, TikTok as a driver of cultural relevance and momentum, and YouTube and Pinterest as storytelling and inspiration platforms.Own Instagram strategy end-to-end, driving innovation across Reels, Stories, Broadcast Channels, and emerging features.Bring a sharp POV on what great looks like on social — balancing elevation, cultural fluency, and IYKYK cool.Content & ExecutionTranslate brand strategy into social-first content ideas, formats, and series that feel native to each platform.Stay hands-on, especially in early days: shaping concepts, writing briefs, and giving clear, actionable feedback.Partner closely with Brand and Creative teams to ensure social content is both platform-right and aligned with broader brand narratives.Apply strong judgment to determine when speed matters most and when polish is required, without sacrificing brand integrity.TikTok & Platform ExpertiseBring deep, current expertise in TikTok, including trends, formats, creator behavior, and platform mechanics.Lead with a real-time social mindset, reacting quickly and decisively to cultural moments, conversations, and trends — especially on TikTok.Push the organization forward in how we think about experimentation, iteration, and originality on emerging platforms.Cross-Functional & Cross-Brand CollaborationWork closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, and PR to shape ideas early and execute them effectively.Partner cross-functionally to help define content development processes that work for social and across teams.Balance advancing broader brand priorities with advocating for what social needs to win on-platform.Collaborate with internal partners on cross-brand initiatives and external brand collaborations, ensuring Savage’s social presence is thoughtfully integrated, culturally relevant, and platform-native when partnering beyond the Savage ecosystem.Leadership & Team BuildingLead and develop the social team, setting clear standards for quality, speed, and collaboration.Build trust through strong judgment, taste, and follow-through.Foster an environment that encourages experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.This Role IsWhat This Role Is (and Is Not)A chance to help shape how an iconic brand shows up on socialStrategic and hands-onFast-moving, collaborative, and culturally drivenThis Role Is NotA maintenance or “calendar-only” social roleAn agency-management positionA slow, overly process-heavy environmentWhat You Will Bring8–12+ years of experience in social media, digital content, or cultural marketing.Deep expertise in TikTok, with strong experience across Instagram and YouTube; familiarity with Pinterest as an inspiration platform.Exceptional taste and creative judgment, with a track record of elevating content quality and relevance.A deep understanding of the fashion and intimates landscape, with the ability to represent women’s and men’s categories within one cohesive brand world.Strong instinct for visual language — including fashion, styling, casting, and content selection — applied in partnership with creative teams in a social-first context.Proven ability to turn strategy into execution and move work out quickly.Experience building or significantly evolving a social function or team.Strong collaboration skills and comfort working closely with brand, creative, PR, and growth partners.High cultural fluency and intuition for what resonates now.Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.Where We AreThis role will be based in our El Segundo Headquarters Compensation & Total RewardsAt Savage X Fenty, we believe work and life should fit together! We continue to build a culture of flexibility, to empower you to do your best and put yourself first. Our Total Rewards program rewards employees for their hard work, supporting their health, well-being, families, and ultimately their life journey. The range provided includes the base salary that Savage X Fenty expects to pay for the role.
