Job Description

Lead a team of supervisors for HSC examinations.Opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment.Position commencing Term 2, 2026.About The RoleCanberra Grammar School is seeking applications for the position of HSC Presiding Officer. The HSC Presiding Officer plays a critical role in the administration and delivery of the Higher School Certificate (HSC) examinations at Canberra Grammar School.Appointed by the School for NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) and working in close collaboration with the Assistant Directors of Academic Education, the HSC Presiding Officer is responsible for ensuring that all HSC examinations are conducted in strict accordance with NESA’s and the School’s policies and procedures. The HSC Presiding Officer works closely with the DP Presiding Officer to coordinate a large team of Invigilators, preparing rosters, briefing staff, and supervising the conduct of examinations.The HSC Presiding Officer must be available every day for both the August HSC Trial Examinations and the official HSC Examinations from mid-October to November.
