Farm Security Superintendent

Our client, a leader in the agricultural sector, is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven security superintendent based in Chisamba to oversee and manage comprehensive security operations across their farm units. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel, protection of valuable assets, and maintaining the security of all farm operations while reporting directly to the Farm ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesOversee daily security activities, ensuring effective implementation of security protocolsDevelop and implement security protocols and procedures tailored to the agricultural environmentConduct regular security assessments and audits on-site to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary corrective actionsLead and manage security staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to respond to emergencies and maintain daily operationsPlan and conduct security drills and training for farm personnelEnsure security systems and measures are functioning properly. Monitor and analyze security systems, CCTV footage, and alarm systemsAct as the primary point of contact for all security-related issues and incidentsEnsure you investigate security incidents, prepare reports on security activities and take appropriate remedial actions. RequirementsA Diploma in Security Management or a related field. A Degree in Security Management in an an added advantageMinimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in a similar setting (like agriculture, manufacturing or rural operations) is required. Prior experience in Law Enforcement Agencies and Security Companies is an added advantageStrong knowledge of security technologies and practicesAwareness of Zambian laws related to security, labour and operations is important. Certification in First Aid, CPR and emergency response is preferredProficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and security management softwareExperience in developing and implementing security protocolsExcellent leadership and staff management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to remain calm and decisive during emergencies or critical incidentsAbility to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, as necessaryValid driver's licenseHow To ApplyPlease submit your application on our job portal before 21st November 2025.
