Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will provide strategic financial insights to support business growth, manage statutory and regulatory reporting and oversee reinsurance accounting. This role is pivotal in ensuring accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement across finance operations.   What you’ll be doing Manage financial accounting processes including monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations, supplier coding and end-of-month consolidated management accountsOversee investment accounting and manage weekly cashflow forecasting to support financial planningManage lease accounting and reporting in line with AASB16Lead statutory and regulatory reporting including GST, APRA, Fire Service Levy, Stamp Duty and other compliance requirementsLead reinsurance reporting and reconciliation including proportional and non-proportional treaties and terrorism & Cyclone reportingProvide leadership and coaching to a small team and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support strategic initiativesContribute to strategic initiatives and actuarial data reconciliation  What you’ll bring with you You bring a strong attention to detail and well developed problem solving skills. Your communication is clear and effective and you manage your time with confidence. You are process oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and critically, you take a hands-on approach to your work. You thrive in team environments and actively contribute to shared outcomes.
