Management Accountant

We are looking for a full-time hands on Management Accountant to join us on this journey!Role & ResponsibilitiesIn your new role, you will report into the CFO and be responsible for the following:Drive and manage month end process and preparation of management accounts, annual budgeting and forecastingPrepare and review balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare group consolidation and elimination journalsPresent accurate and timely financial information including insightful analysis/commentaryLead half year review and annual financial audit with the external auditorFor ASX disclosure, provide financial analysis and insights, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario planningDevelop and optimize financial models to support business planning and decision-makingLiaise with external accountant and tax advisor on global taxation requirements as needed (e.g. ITR, FBT, BAS, global indirect taxes)Support the team duties of managing payroll, accounts receivables and accounts payable as requiredIdentify, support and lead process improvement initiativesGeneral support on all financial matters as required such as managing working capital, including cashflow forecasting, forecasting of FX requirements Qualification:CA/CPA qualification with a tertiary accounting qualificationTotal 8+ years’ experience (including 5+ years’ in a commercial environment or an auditor in a Big 4 accounting firm)Significant financial control experience in the Retail/FMCG/eCommExperience in ASX listed environment is highly preferredExperience in fast pace start-up environment is a big PlusHistory of process improvement and desire to improve operations
