About the roleThis is a fantastic opportunity to join ARA Building Services as a Financial Controller. In this full-time role based in Kingsgrove, NSW, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the business.What you'll be doingOversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow managementEnsure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and legislative requirementsManage the accounts payable and receivable processesProvide financial analysis and recommendations to the executive teamSupervise and develop the finance teamContribute to the implementation of financial systems and processesAssist with ad-hoc projects and other duties as requiredWhat we're looking for5+ years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within the building services or construction industryStrong technical accounting and financial analysis skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with stakeholdersProven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teamsThorough understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations and financial reporting requirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineCPA or CA qualification preferredARA Building Services is a leading provider of building maintenance, construction and project management services.
