About Rookridge VenturesRookridge is a UK-registered hybrid venture platform combining a venture studio and an early-stage VC fund. We are currently building and investing in a portfolio of mission-driven startups across Fintech, Cleantech, Healthcare, AI, and Retailtech. With a growing pipeline of 6–7 ventures—including climate-focused companies like Mint Rewards, Caffeyn, and Climata—we aim to create long-term value in markets with billion-dollar opportunities.About the RoleAs the Founder Associate (internship), you will work directly with the Founder and Managing Director of Rookridge Ventures. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll help shape and grow one of the most forward-looking venture platforms in emerging markets. You’ll support the founder across investment operations, venture support, team coordination, and strategic projects—gaining invaluable exposure to fundraising, venture building, and high-level decision-making.Key Responsibilities- Fundraising Support: Assist in preparing investment materials, researching investors, and coordinating outreach for both the studio and portfolio startups. - Strategic Projects: Drive special initiatives such as accelerator applications, partnerships, and investor readiness for climate ventures. - Team Coordination: Ensure internal operations (design, tech, community) are aligned with company priorities and deliverables. - Process Optimisation: Identify and implement internal improvements to scale studio efficiency. - Founder Enablement: Be the right-hand to the founder in managing the calendar, meetings, investor follow-ups, and decision-making. - Ecosystem Engagement: Represent Rookridge in community or ecosystem-related programs and initiatives. - Talent & Hiring: Assist in sourcing talent for portfolio companies and internal studio functions.About YouPassionate about startups, impact-driven businesses, and early-stage investing.Prior experience in a startup, VC, accelerator, consulting, or donor agency.Strong written and verbal communication with professional fluency in English.Highly organised, adaptable, and a strong executor with a bias for action.Comfortable working across multiple tasks, ventures, and markets.Interest in climate innovation, venture funding, and global ecosystems.Located in or willing to work remotely with timezone alignment to UK/Gulf.What We Offer2-month internship (10K PKR stipend) with the potential for a long-term contract or equity-based role.Opportunity to earn studio equity or carry in the future VC fund.Work closely with experienced operators and international mentors.Firsthand experience in venture building, fundraising, and startup scaling.A values-led team driven by impact, innovation, and excellence.
