Our client in the Food and Beverage industry is hiring a Logistics Coordinator & Inventory Analyst!About the roleThe Logistics Coordinator & Inventory Analyst will oversee back-end operations, including international and domestic freight, coordination with third party logistics providers. This full-time role is central to ensuring smooth operational workflows, accurate shipment handling, and continuous optimization of logistics processes. You will be working closely with suppliers, third party logistics companies, warehouses, and brokers. This role includes the use of various software platforms as well as the management and manual entry of data in spreadsheets. What you’ll doManage day-to-day logistics movement, coordinating with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and carriers.Oversee movement of containers from point of manufacture to port, customs documentation, arrival at destination port, clearance of customs/government agencies, movement to third party warehouses, shipments of palletized shipments to customers and processors, and inventory tracking to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.Monitor international shipments from Spain to the US, ensuring timely delivery and proper coordination across all stages.Handle domestic freight movement across the US, making sure deliveries run efficiently and reach their destinations on time.Identify and implement process improvements to optimize shipping efficiency and reduce costs.Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, supply chain) to ensure smooth workflows and compliance with regulations.Make sure inventory is in the right warehouse when it needs to be there.Use excel and software platforms for record keeping that can also be used for analysis.Manage outbound logistics and keep clear records of all movements.What you’ll bringMust be HUNGRY to thrive in a small start-up where work is autonomous and remote.Deep knowledge and LOVE of Excel.3–5 years of proven experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, or back-end processes within the CPG/DTC industry. Deep understanding of international logistics, with experience managing exports from Spain and imports into the US.Practical knowledge of US logistics and freight movement, ensuring smooth domestic operations.Strong organizational and data management skills with meticulous attention to detail.Hands-on experience coordinating shipments, freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs procedures.Ability to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously and ensure smooth workflows.Skilled in process analysis, troubleshooting, and implementing efficiency improvements.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
