Role Description This is a full-time Maintenance Technician role located on-site at our facilities in Colombo. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep, inspection, and repair of equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance. Daily tasks include identifying and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and maintaining safety standards. The role requires collaboration with team members, timely reporting, and adherence to company protocols to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, electrical systems, and HVAC systemsExperience in operating maintenance tools and equipment, along with basic plumbing and carpentry skillsStrong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices and ability to follow technical guidelinesKnowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance with maintenance-related regulationsExcellent time management, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detailWillingness to work on-site and respond to maintenance emergencies as neededBachelor’s degree or technical certification in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatoryPrior experience in a similar role within the service or facilities management industry is advantageous
