As part of our expansion, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Manager/ Assistant Manager – Tour Operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesigning and developing creative tour packages tailored for different markets Liaising with service providers (hotels, transport, guides, excursions, activities) and handling contracting Managing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth execution of all tours and group travel Coordinating with sales & marketing teams on pricing, proposals, and product development Overseeing reservations, confirmations, and travel documentation Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally Monitoring tour budgets, costs, and supplier payments Ensuring high service quality standards and customer satisfaction Training and guiding operations staff/assistants as requiredKey QualificationsStrong understanding and proven experience in handling group and FIT (Free Independent Traveler) tours Established contacts with accommodation, transport, and other service providers in the travel industry Excellent communication, PR, and negotiation skills (both local and international) Good knowledge of Sri Lanka’s destinations, attractions, and tourism trends Strong organizational and multitasking skills with atten tion to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while ensuring service excellence Familiarity with travel booking systems/operations software will be an advantage Commitment, leadership skills, and ability to take owner ship of responsibilities Fluency in English (both spoken & written); additional foreign languages will be an added advantageWhat We OfferAttractive financial package Hybrid and flexible work model Clear career progression opportunities Opportunity to work in a tech-enabled, innovative tourism environment
