The grill and our meats are at the heart of what we do. Our team of Gaucho/a Chef's serve and carve the finest selection of meats directly at our guests’ tables, with all the tradition behind the unique Brazilian way of serving. As the Gaucho/a Chef Trainer you will, alongside the Head Gaucho/a Chef, oversee the running of the department, ensuring our meats are prepared, cooked and served to the highest standards. You will act as a role model for your team ensuring they provide high levels of guest care, always. A good level of English is required for this role.The advertised wage is inclusive of a basic wage of £12.30 per hour, plus anticipated tronc of £5.88 per hour. If you demonstrate the right attitude, desire and potential, we will help with any additional training to put you on course for a future management role.About The Role Of Gaucho/a Chef TrainerAs a rodizio restaurant, the role of the grill and kitchen teams differs from the traditional setup. Our meats are prepared and cooked in a separate grill section by the grill team, whilst the kitchen team take responsibility for creating cold dishes for the self service Market Table, as well as hot side dishes, desserts and vegetarian options for our guests.As Such, The Ideal Gaucho/a Chef Trainer Will PossessSupervisory or management experience, preferably in a kitchen environmentA passion for preparing, cooking and serving high quality meatsA high level of product and food hygiene knowledgeA clean-as-you-go approach and natural concern for cleanliness and hygieneA strong understanding of and belief in teamworkAn understanding of the importance of stock control and wage budgets while ensuring the guest experience is never compromisedA proactive leadership style and good people skills, adaptive to a diverse working environmentConfidence in communicating with the team and with senior management, receiving instructions courteously and delegating appropriatelyAbout UsAt Fazenda, we are proud to offer an authentic Churrasco Experience, from the Pampas of Southern Brazil to the UK.
