You will work closely with clients and other team members to ensure accurate representation of scientific data and compliance with industry standards. This position requires excellent writing skills, strong scientific background, clear and confident communication, and the ability to translate complex data into engaging storylines.Key Responsibilities:Scientific Writing: Draft, review, and revise abstracts, posters, oral presentations, and manuscripts for submission to medical journals and conferences.Collaboration: Serve as the central point of communication with clients to lead meetings, route drafts, maintain alignment on scientific messaging, and ensure deadlines are met.Creative Design: Visually highlight key insights through figures, posters, graphical abstracts, and slide decks.Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all publications meet regulatory and ethical guidelines, including ICMJE and GPP3 standards.Publication Strategy: Contribute to publication plans and strategies, helping to ensure timely and effective dissemination of study results and other central findings.Ongoing Education: Stay updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and publication best practices.Qualifications:Education: A PhD, PharmD, or MD in a scientific field is required.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical writing. Publication experience while earning a doctorate degree may be substituted — newly defended or soon to defend PhDs and post-docs are welcome to apply! A minimum of 2 years of agency or industry experience is required for senior medical writers.Research and/or writing expertise in at least one of the following areas: immunology, neuroscience, oncology, dermatology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, ocular health, or nutrition science is preferred but not required. Experience in writing clinical trial publications or HEOR/RWE is preferred but not required.Skills: Strong understanding of the research process and data analysis.Experience with manuscript writing for peer-reviewed journals and preparing conference materials (e.g., abstracts, posters, oral presentations).
