Merchandising Officer - Modern Trade will play a crucial role in our company's success by ensuring effective product placement and promotion within supermarket accounts. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities. The Merchandising Officer will be responsible for the following: 1. Develop and implement merchandising strategies: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective strategies to increase product visibility and drive sales in modern trade outlets. Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to enhance product placement and promotional efforts.2. Plan and execute product displays: Coordinate with supermarket management to secure prime shelf space for our products. Create visually appealing displays that attract customer attention and highlight the key features. Ensure proper stock rotation to minimize product expiry.3. Conduct market analysis: Regularly visit different supermarket accounts to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising strategies. Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to management for decision-making.4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Work closely with the sales team to align merchandising efforts with sales targets and promotional activities. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop impactful point-of-sale materials, signage, and other promotional collaterals.5. Build and maintain relationships: Establish strong professional relationships with supermarket personnel, including store managers, category managers, and floor staff. Collaborate with them to secure optimal product positioning and negotiate prime shelf space.Compensation Package: ₱23,000 – ₱28,000 per month plus incentives
