Mid/Senior Backend Developer

We're seeking a skilled and driven backend Developer to contribute to our innovative products and projects.Role Highlights:Join a skilled and experienced team working on modern backend systems. We’re looking for developers with 2–3 years of general backend experience, strong engineering skills, and a desire to learn and transition to Golang through our structured onboarding. This hybrid role offers full flexibility, allowing you to work both in office in Belgrade, Serbia, and remotely.Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain high-quality applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions meet customer needs.- Communicate effectively with team members to maintain project awareness and identify areas for improvement.- Implement best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance.- Contribute to the design and architecture of backend systems, leveraging your expertise in distributed, large-scale systems.Requirements:- 3+ years of professional backend development experience in Java, Node.js or C++- Hands-on experience building high-throughput, low-latency, distributed backend systems.- Proficiency in Micro-service communication patterns/protocols and their trade-offs.- Practical experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.- Strong understanding of general database concepts, including indexing, concurrency control, and partitioning.- Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/DynamoDB).Some Nice to Haves, But Not a Must:- Experience in industries such as Fintech, Trading, Casino/iGaming, or CRM.- Previous experience in Golang- Familiarity with EKS and Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).- Familiarity with OLAP databases like Clickhouse.If you’re eager to improve your skills, and want to be part of a collaborative and supportive team — we’d love to hear from you!
