Job Description

The Operations Associate - Securities Reconciliation is responsible for verifying and reconciling securities holdings and transactions by comparing internal records with external sources (including custodians, brokers, and counterparties) to ensure accuracy in reporting for internal use, audits, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, monitors and manages approved credit and transaction limits to prevent breaches, support operational efficiency, and mitigate risk.Core Responsibilities:Investigate discrepancies such as missing trades, incorrect quantities, or settlement errors, and promptly coordinate with internal teams or external counterparties to resolve issues.Maintain comprehensive records of reconciliations, including any adjustments or corrections, to comply with audit requirements.Responsible for reviewing and resolving discrepancies to ensure that trades and positions/holdings are accurate, updated and properly recorded on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis to avoid delays and risk.Monitor credit and trade limit utilization across counterparties to ensure transactions remain within approved limits.Notify relevant teams (Risk, Middle Office, Traders) of any limit breaches for allocation and approval.Prepare and maintain limit monitoring reports to support audit reviews.Qualifications:Graduate of a 4-year Bachelor’s/College Degree, preferably related to Finance or AccountingExperience in operations, reconciliation, or trade support roles, preferably in securities or investment operations.Adept in the needed MS Office systems, good interpersonal relationship, oral and written communication skills, service orientedWilling to be assigned in MakatiFRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY - ENTRY-LEVEL
