The agency is committed to sustainable and responsible tourism, collaborating with environmentally conscious service providers and adhering to green practices in its operations.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role as an Operations Manager located in Colombo. The Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate daily travel operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of bespoke travel experiences. Key responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, optimizing operational workflows, negotiating rates, organizing transport, and coordinating bookings. Additionally, the role will involve team leadership, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with sustainability and quality standards.Our suppliers are travel agents, hotels, activity providers, tour guides, drivers, and transport companies. You will also work closely with sales consultants and customer care specialists to handle allbookings.  QualificationsBuild and maintain a high-quality supplier database; develop strong knowledge of destinations, products, and attractions. Manage relationships with all suppliers covering selection, onboarding, quality control, performanceevaluations, and contract/pricing negotiations. Handle costings, quotations, and all customer reservations and bookings (hotels, transport, activities, guides). Support the sales team in converting inquiries into confirmed bookings and achieving individual and team sales targets. Monitor suppliers to ensure error-free, high-quality services and customer satisfaction throughout theclient’s journey. Provide client care and promptly resolve any issues while clients are on tour. Lead and implement sustainability initiatives across all suppliers and operational processes. Ensure efficient coordination and communication between sales, operations, and accounts departments. Oversee operational budgets and maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality. Continuously improve operational processes, service quality, and supplier performance.
