Beyond managing payroll, compliance, and taxes, we integrate financial tools to maximise the value of every work payment, worldwide.We are expanding our global team and looking for Payroll Team Lead to bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used.Would you like to take on a new challenge in the field of Finance in a successful, fast-growing global start-up?Location: RemoteSalary Range: FlexibleKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise and mentor payroll team members, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure high performanceConduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, changes, and best practicesProvide relevant training for new and existing team membersServe as the primary point of contact for more complex payroll inquiries from employees and management.Team management and go to person for all team questions, performance review with team members,Working on creating policies, procedures and instructions for payroll team, Working closely with the Head of Payroll to make sure that company goals are communicated and achieved. Ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll for assigned countries,Prepare and reconcile internal and external payroll reports,Check payroll reports and confirm them before they are declared to legal authorities for assigned countries, Follow up payroll inputs from various source,Control employee expenses and ensure that payments are made by checking whether they comply with the legal rules of the relevant country,Preparing payroll backup for the invoicing processes,Keep informed and up to date with tax and payment processes of new countries, conducts research and manages the processes and tax legislation in each countryCorrespondence with local accountants,Maintain and develop professional relationships with clientsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.Strong understanding of payroll regulations, taxation, and compliance requirements across multiple countriesSolid knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and reconciliations.Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and data management skills.Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Problem-solving and analytical mindset to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.BenefitsDynamic and interesting work in an early-stage, funded startupAbility to influence the next stages of our growth Flexible work environmentCompetitive salaryExperience working in the ever-changing world of fintechOpportunities for professional and personal growthAdditional employee benefitsJoin our team at Native Teams, a fast-growing global start-up.
