About The Role: A leading infrastructure organisation is seeking a Procurement Specialist for a full-time, permanent position based in Sydney CBD. Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Procurement, you will partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver procurement strategies, run market engagements, negotiate contracts across a wide range of indirect spend categories, and secure strong commercial and operational results from the supply base. You Will: Act as the go-to procurement expert, delivering commercial insight and hands-on support to stakeholders across the business.Analyse current spend and supplier performance to identify and drive quick-win improvement opportunities.Contribute to the creation and rollout of robust category plans and sourcing approaches.Lead end-to-end sourcing projects that align with broader organisational priorities.Negotiate and manage supplier agreements to maximise value, quality, and reliability.Collaborate with the ERP transformation team to embed new tools, refine processes, and boost technology adoption. About You: Tertiary qualified in business, supply chain, law or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).CIPS qualification (or working towards it) is highly regarded.Exposure to NSW Government or Federal procurement rules will be looked upon favourably.Natural curiosity for digging into cost drivers, financials, and risk identification.Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to hit project milestones.Highly organised, proactive, and an excellent communicator with meticulous attention to detail.
