For us all good design is sustainable.The OpportunityProject Manager is a project leadership position with responsibility for architectural design and technical production of projects. Perkins Eastman covers multiple practice areas including education, mix-use, largescale, healthcare, and housing.We are seeking an individual with strong technical and communication skills working within the design team to create exemplary buildings, specifically healthcare and large-scale projects to suit clients’ and users’ needs.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage the overall healthcare or large-scale projects through all design phases including client interaction, schedule and financial performance. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential.Assist Principal-in-Charge with generating Design Services ProposalsUnderstand contracts and run projects from inception through to project closeout.Manage project teams, determining staffing assignments required to meet project milestones.Responsible for all aspects of project management including budgeting, staffing, billing and consultant billing.Manage and/or generate details, both exterior and interior within a Revit contextLead in coordination with consultants and design teamCoordinate material identification and specificationsQuality control of the contract documentsLead all aspects of the Construction Administration phase including meetings, submittals and preparation of field sketches.Required QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in architecture is required.Minimum of 6 to 10 years’ experience.Must possess OSHPD/HCAI experience to work on healthcare projects.Must have experience with small to mid-level healthcare project.Strong written and verbal communications skillsFamiliarity with Deltek Vision Software a plusProficient with computer-assisted design software such as Revit and AutoCADProficient in the use of Microsoft Office softwareLicense preferred.Passion for and fundamental understanding of sustainable design.CPHD, LEED and/or WELL accreditations, progress toward licensure (NCIDQ) are pluses.Additional QualificationsMust be able to interface with client and maintain the relationship while managing the project.Must be able to put fee proposals together for projects.Must have experience managing the project budgetMust be able to contribute towards RFPs.Excellent communication skills are a must.Manage and assign staff on the project.Ability to do business development and bring in clients is a plus.What We Offer YouRobust medical, dental and vision coverage401k OptionsPTOCompany Paid HolidaysLife InsurancePre-tax commuter benefitsProfessional DevelopmentCompetitive salaryPE has a hybrid policy that allows flexibility for our employees in managing their working days and hours to cater to their diverse needs.Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographical work location.Salary Range: $90k - $105kPerkins Eastman is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer and a participant in the U.S. Federal E-Verify program.
