Quality Assurance Quality Control Inspector

Job Title: QA/QC InspectorLocation: Basrah, IraqEmployment Type: Full-timeJob DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector to join our team. The inspector will be responsible for carrying out inspections, monitoring site works, and ensuring that all activities meet project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quality control within construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily inspections of materials, equipment, and site activities as per approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).Verify that works are executed in compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Raise and follow up on Inspection Requests (RFIs) with consultants/clients.Record and report non-conformities (NCRs) and coordinate with the QA/QC Engineer/Lead for corrective actions.Ensure proper storage, handling, and installation of materials as per manufacturer’s recommendations.Maintain and update inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation.Coordinate with construction teams to ensure timely inspections and approvals.Support audits and quality reviews conducted by the client or third parties.Assist in compiling final handover documentation and as-built records.Qualifications & RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 5 years of relevant QA/QC inspection experience in construction or oil & gas projects.Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures.Strong knowledge of applicable international codes and standards.Good communication and reporting skills.Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in MS Office and documentation tools.
