Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful location near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay Village. The school opened in 1975 and has just under 2000 students with approximately 160 teaching and support staff combined.We are looking for a friendly, organised School Secretary/Receptionist to be the first point of contact in our college office, communicating with parents, staff and maintaining the student database.Key Responsibilities Will IncludeProviding a seamless delivery of office services to meet the needs of the public, students and teachers quickly and efficiently.Attending to general enquiries through the main telephone switchboard, email and the public.Word processing, data capture, correspondence, updating information on the Long Bay College website.Assisting with Enrolments.We are seeking experienced applicants with excellent communication and organisational skills who are efficient, calm and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in the use of the following systems an advantage: Microsoft Office 365 and KAMAR.Remuneration as per the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement, Grade 4, plus a qualifications allowance if applicable. Permanent position, full-time hours Monday to Friday (8:00 am-4:00 pm) during term time (37.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum).This role is a wonderful opportunity for someone who requires the school holidays off to spend with their children and/or some work/life balance.
