GMNS Analytics & Products aims to provide best in class analytics to support key GMNS priorities, support strategic initiatives, optimize investments, accelerate merchant and network activation enhancing the value Amex acceptance brings to merchants and Card Members at scale.Job Responsibilities:Business Outcomes:·       Utilize broad set of analytical tools/techniques for data mining, data cleansing, data extraction, analysis & transformation, data interpretation & insights.·       Develop next generation products & algorithmic solutions for network partner analytics.·       Independently partner with regional stakeholders to recommend solutions and deliver actionable insights.·       Ideate, identify and recommend process improvements based on results of analytics work.·       Enhance the data analytical and capabilities infrastructure.·       Expand usage of data-backed decisions/products/data science in strategies and identifying opportunities with potential to scaleLeadership Outcomes:·       Put enterprise thinking first, connect the role’s agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders.·       Lead with an external perspective, challenge status quo and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings·       Demonstrate learning agility, make decisions quickly and with the highest level of integrityMinimum Qualifications:Experience·       2-4 years of experience as Data Analyst or Data Engineer, with hands-on experience on BI tools like Tableau/Power BI. Exposure to Capability development and BI Automations will be a plus.·       Prior experience in the network business is preferred.Education·       Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering.·       Preferred: Post-graduate in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Management.Technical Skills·       Proficiency in SQL, Hive, Python, PySpark, VBA, Tableau/Power BI, Google Cloud Platform·       Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).·       Familiarity with predictive modeling and advanced AI/ML algorithms is a plus.Core Competencies·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data.·       Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and ability to challenge the status quo to drive impactful change.·       Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in fast-paced environments.·       Innovative problem solver: quick learner who can work independently on unstructured initiatives.·       Effective collaborator with strong relationship-building skills.·       Excellent business communication and presentation abilities, with experience influencing strategy at all levels of management.We back you with benefits that support your holistic well-being so you can be and deliver your best.
