Company DescriptionVirtue Trustee Berhad (VTB) was incorporated under the Companies Act 2016 and operates under the Trust Companies Act 1949, ensuring full compliance with Malaysia’s fiduciary and legal framework.Established in 2024, VTB was founded to provide trusted fiduciary and estate-planning services to individuals, families, and corporations.Operating under the Trust Companies Act 1949 and Trustee Act 1949, VTB upholds transparency, governance, and ethical management in all fiduciary dealings.Built upon the principles of integrity, professionalism, and financial expertise, VTB delivers bespoke trust solutions, wealth-protection strategies, and fiduciary governance — safeguarding the financial legacy of our clients with precision and trust.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Executive, Finance & HR, based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The VP, Finance & HR will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial management and human resource functions, ensuring strong governance, operational efficiency, and compliance with applicable regulatory and fiduciary requirements.On the finance side, the role includes overseeing financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and payroll administration, while ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations. The candidate must also have a strong understanding of trust accounting, including the administration of client trust accounts, reconciliation of trust funds, recording of trust transactions, and preparation of trust-related financial reports in accordance with fiduciary and regulatory standards applicable to trust companies.On the human resources side, the Senior Executive will oversee HR strategy, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll and benefits administration, and the implementation of HR policies and procedures. The role also includes supporting leadership in building a strong organizational culture and ensuring HR practices align with the company’s growth objectives.The role will also work closely with senior management, auditors, banks, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure sound financial governance, proper administration of trust assets, and effective human resource management within the organization.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in finance, accounting, or HR functions.Basic understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll administration.Knowledge or exposure to trust accounting and administration of client trust accounts will be an added advantage.Familiarity with Malaysian statutory requirements, including payroll, EPF, SOCSO, and tax matters.Experience in HR administration, including recruitment coordination, employee records, and HR policy implementation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle confidential financial and employee information with integrity and professionalism.
