The Queensland Parliamentary Service is recruiting a strategic leader for the role of Sergeant-at-Arms and Head of Security. This key position ensures the safety of Members of Parliament, staff, and visitors across the precinct and 97 Electorate offices, while also fulfilling ceremonial duties. Responsibilities include delivering emergency advice, managing security training, responding to incidents, and leading cultural change. Required skills include leadership, stakeholder management, crisis response, and operational planning. This is a unique opportunity to support the integrity and security of Queensland’s Parliament.Queensland Parliamentary Service is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join the Parliamentary Service as the Sergeant-at-Arms and Head of Security. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Members of Parliament, staff, and visitors across the Parliamentary precinct and 97 Electorate offices statewide along with the ceremonial duties required within parliament as the Sergeant-at-Arms and Head of Security.
