Technical Lead

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leading and owning the development of software products, modules and integration work in a timely and quality manner Ensure software designs and implementation are in-line with code quality standards and best practices Ensure products and modules meet all the functional and non-functional requirements Liaise with other project stakeholders effectively in order to fulfill project requirements Estimating effort and resource requirements for software projects Identify possible knowledge and skill gaps and mentor team members REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS Minimum 5 years of industry experience in software engineering, with at least one year as a technical lead. Full-stack development exposure in JAVA Thorough knowledge in software engineering best practices with hands-on exposure to industry accepted technology platforms Extensive work experience in agile methodologies, preferably in scrum Exposure to Cloud platforms and container based deployment will be an added advantage Bachelor’s degree in software engineering / equivalent professional qualifications REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Related academic or professional qualifications are required.
