The language, the structure, the hierarchy, and the difference between an NCO and a SNCO without needing to Google it.Your role is clear:Find exceptional military talent. Translate their experience. Align them to mission-fit opportunities. Prepare them for submission.You will not interact with clients. You will work alongside Recruiting Partners who handle final evaluation and client presentation. Your job is to identify and assess leadership potential before it ever reaches the client.Why This Role ExistsVeterans often undersell themselves. Their resumes don’t always translate their impact.We need someone who can: Look beyond formatting and buzzwords Understand MOS/AFSC/Rate codes Identify leadership and operational impact Recognize when a squad leader equals a frontline supervisor See potential others might missThis is sourcing with judgment. Not volume.What You Will DoSource Across Multiple Requisitions Identify qualified veterans and military spouses across open roles Work across industries and job families simultaneously Build targeted pipelines for active and future openingsTranslate Military Experience Interpret military roles and hierarchy accurately Assess experience against job requirements even when poorly translated Identify leadership traits consistent with high performersEvaluate Before Submission Conduct initial qualification screens Determine alignment with Commander’s Intent (the mission behind each job) Submit only mission-aligned candidates to Recruiting PartnersLeverage Social Media Use LinkedIn, Meta platforms, and other channels for proactive sourcing Build presence in veteran communities Confidently use social platforms to identify, engage, and attract talent Comfortably create content (including video) that educates veterans and builds trustWhy This MattersThis role is not about filling requisitions.It is about ensuring a Staff Sergeant with leadership potential does not get filtered out because his resume says “Platoon Sergeant” instead of “Operations Supervisor.”It is about protecting dignity in transition.It is about recognizing leaders before the market does. RequirementsWhat “Great” Looks Like You are a veteran or military spouse who understands service culture firsthand. You know military terminology, structure, and rank hierarchy. You can quickly determine whether experience translates to civilian roles. You are self-directed and productive in a remote environment. You are organized across multiple open requisitions. You are comfortable using technology and AI tools. You are willing to post on social media and speak publicly about veteran career transition best practices.
