Vice President Exploration - Mineral Resource Management (Mining)

The CompanyGlobe 24-7 in partnership with a key mining client, are working together to source an experienced and qualified Vice President - Mineral Resource Management located in Saudi.The Responsibilities• Serve as custodian of Resource, Reserve, and Reconciliation governance, standards, procedures, process management, reporting, databases, and information repositories. • Compile the annual Resource and Reserve report accurately and in line with required deadlines. • Evaluate and recommend candidates for appointment as internal and external Competent Persons for estimation and reporting of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves. • Develop training and mentorship programs for internal and external Competent Persons. • Implement Resource, Reserve, and Reconciliation governance standards across the organization and monitor compliance. • Chair the R&R Management Set-up and act as the primary point of contact for receiving requests, data, and information on behalf of senior leadership. • Conduct peer reviews of all new and updated Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve estimates, including those supporting project development decisions. • Perform independent technical reviews of Resources and Reserves at various stages of project development. • Establish and maintain a secure central corporate R&R database containing all data, models, and reports related to Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves. • Manage independent technical audits of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves in coordination with the Chief Audit Executive.The Requirements• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Mining, or Mineral Resource Engineering (specialization in Mineral Resource Management preferred) • Recognized Competent Person for structurally controlled gold, base metals, aluminum, industrial minerals, and phosphate under the JORC Code (preferred) or another CRIRSCO-aligned reporting code (e.g., CIM, PERC, etc.)Professional with 20+ years of experience in: • Mineral resource management, planning, coordination, and compliance/governance in accordance with industry standards and stock exchange requirements • Familiarity with and experience in resource and reserve modeling and development aligned with industry best practicesThe RewardsThe position offers a competitive remuneration package.Contact UsPlease apply directly by submitting your resume, preferably as a Microsoft Word document.
