Chief Financial Officer

Our client has the backing of Private Equity and the business is at a critical inflection point. Having achieved initial scale and success, the company now requires comprehensive finance transformation to support its ambitious growth agenda. With a strong market position and committed capital, the business is positioned for significant scale-up, once the foundational finance infrastructure is rebuilt. Reporting to the CEO, board and financial sponsors, the CFO will spend 12 months in a hands-on capacity rebuilding the finance function. You'll work daily with the existing team to embed new standards, replace the ERP systems, automate manual processes, management reporting and business analysis. Following transformation, the team will need to partner with the business and drive growth acceleration - including acquisitions which will require sound capital management. Your technical proficiency extends to systems implementation and process redesign and you will bring a strong commercial focus to business performance. You understand that successful transformation requires visible leadership, you'll be in the office driving change from the front, not managing from a distance. You are CA / CPA qualified and demonstrate the experience to successfully partner with a financial sponsor and execute enterprise-level change in an asset intensive, multi-site, industrial services business. You have an enviable track record of rebuilding finance functions and/or supporting high-growth business environments. Your experience spans team restructuring, systems implementation and process automation. You excel at balancing transformation demands with commercial outcomes, while building credibility with sophisticated investors.
