Group Finance Manager – 6 Month Contract$550-700p/dRenewable Energy Sydney (CBD) Start Date: ASAP (Pre-Christmas) TAP are exclusively partnering with high-growth renewable energy businesses, to support their search for a Group Finance Manager. This organisation is scaling rapidly across the APAC region and is seeking an experienced contractor to support the business through a period of expansion, transformation, and increased reporting demands.This is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend, offering the opportunity to step into a fast-paced environment and partner directly with senior leadership as the company navigates significant growth. In post, you will take full ownership of group consolidation, month-end processes, financial reporting, and implementation of internal controls within the business. You will act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, auditors, and cross-functional teams, ensuring the Group’s financials are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the monthly group consolidation and reporting cyclesDeliver accurate and timely management reporting, analysis and commentaryOversee month-end, balance sheet reviews, and group-level reconciliationsSupport preparation of statutory accounts and coordination of the external auditStrengthen and streamline financial controls, processes, and policiesDrive improvements in reporting efficiency and data qualitySupport budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc financial modelling as requiredProvide technical accounting expertise (IFRS) and support ongoing projectsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:CA/CPA/ACA/ACCA qualified with 3-5 years PQEImmediately availableStrong knowledge of IFRS and external audit processesExperience working in fast-paced, transformation-heavy environmentHigh attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
