Graduate Research Assistant

Photonics Research Centre, Universiti Malaya is looking for potential Master and PhD students to pursue their studies in various photonics sectors.Requirements:Successful candidates MUST register for FULL TIME Master / PhD program with Universiti Malaya upon appointment. The minimum duration of research is 12 months for Master and 24 months for PhD.Highly interested in fiber optics technology (fiber lasers, fiber sensors, waveguides).Willing to learn new skills, hardworking, and proactive.Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree (preferably Physics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering/equivalent)There is no minimum CGPA requirement.Bachelor's degree holders with a CGPA above 3.70 are most welcome to apply for the PhD program directly.An appointment as a graduate research assistant would qualify you for tuition fee exemption.A monthly stipend will be provided on top of tuition fee exemption (RM 1,300 negotiable).Expected start date: NegotiableFor interested candidates, please email your CV to me at syamilsaad@um.edu.my or if you have any questions related to this application.
