Head of QA and Food Safety

Industry: RetailsJob SummaryOur client in the retail industry is looking for a QA and Food Safety leader to ensure product quality, food safety compliance, and operational excellence across stores, warehouses, and suppliers. The role includes audits, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination to maintain high-quality standards.Main Responsibilities:Develop and implement QA policies, procedures, and standards for all product categories.Lead store, supplier, and warehouse audits to ensure compliance with hygiene, food handling, storage, and traceability requirements.Monitor product quality performance and implement corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (HACCP, ISO, GMP).Coordinate with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to resolve quality issues.Lead and train the QA team to strengthen quality monitoring capabilities.Prepare and present quality audit reports with recommendations for continuous improvemMain Requirements:Bachelors degree in Food Technology, Quality Assurance, Food Science, or related field.Experience in QA, preferably in retail, supermarket, FMCG, or food manufacturing.Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000).Experience in conducting supplier and warehouse audits.Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
