You will be trained to carry out a range of general duties to provide vital support for the Biomedical Scientist staff in our Clinical Laboratory. These duties include patient data input, handling telephone calls, blood component issue, cleaning and the transport of blood components across the NHS Grampian region.The CandidateThe successful candidate should have a flexible approach to work. No relevant experience is required as full training will be given however excellent data inputting skills and fluency in the English language are essential. Applicants must also hold a full manual driving licence.In the Blood Bank a 24/7 shift roster is in operation and permanent post holders must participate. Agenda for Change remuneration rates for shift working apply.The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check.
