BHIC offers a dynamic environment, competitive rewards, and opportunities to make a lasting impact.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Manager, Commercial Strategy is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies, managing bidding processes, and overseeing contract lifecycle management to ensure commercial viability and compliance. This role plays a critical part in driving BHIC’s vision by optimizing revenue streams, mitigating risks, and supporting strategic growth initiatives across defence contracts and procurement activities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop pricing models and bid strategies for major defence contracts.Oversee contract lifecycle management including negotiation, execution, and compliance tracking.Conduct commercial risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate costing and profitability analysis.Prepare commercial proposals and presentations for executive leadership.Monitor market trends and competitor pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness.QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Commercial Law or related field.8+ years of experience in commercial strategy, pricing, or contract management within defence or large-scale industrial projects.Strong negotiation and financial modeling skills.Proven ability to manage complex contracts and stakeholder relationships.Excellent analytical and communication skills.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESStrategic thinking and commercial acumen.Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.Strong project management and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
