Join a supportive team managing a growing portfolio of investment properties. This autonomous and varied role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and previous exposure to tenancy or property management.This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the portfolio, providing administrative support across tenancy, leasing, maintenance, financial reporting, and communication with external stakeholders.Working closely with a small team and directly with management, you'll enjoy autonomy, variety, and opportunities to grow your skills in property management and portfolio administration.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the day-to-day oversight of a varied property portfolio to ensure compliance, performance, and operational efficiencySupport the onboarding of new properties, including document collation, records setup, and liaising with managing agents and service providers as requiredReview lease documents to ensure offer terms and clauses are accurate and fit for purposeCorrespond directly with managing agents to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and support effective property operationsAssist with minor refurbishment or upgrade projects, including sourcing quotes, scheduling works, and coordinating with contractorsOversee and track maintenance requests through to completionEnsure all rates, levies, utility, and maintenance invoices are directed to the correct parties for payment and reconciliationPrepare and maintain regular income and expenditure reportingAssist with the preparation of outgoings budgets and complete end-of-year reconciliations to ensure all costs align with issued invoicesCommunicate effectively with the property owner, government agencies, utility providers, tradespeople, and internal teams on a wide range of property-related mattersAbout YouRequiredYou will bring a professional, organised, and proactive approach to your work. While extensive property management experience is not required, you will ideally have:Previous exposure to tenancy, leasing, or property managementStrong communication skills and confidence interacting with tenants, contractors, real estate agents, and external service providersA keen eye for detail—ensuring accuracy in rent details, start dates, lease terms, and documentationSolid administrative capability, with experience managing processes, data, and deadlinesThe ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team environmentWhy work with Shadforth?
