Our continued growth is driven by innovation, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to our customers and partners worldwide.Role SummaryAgrocrop is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Technician. Reporting to the Senior QA Manager, the QA Technician will be responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to food quality standards, monitor and conduct audit processes, material, and product testing against established standards and conducts a continuous analysis of quality. Identifies deficiencies or gaps in testing activities and develops solutions to ensure adequate and robust quality processes. Optimizes processes to comply with existing and new regulatory requirements. The QA Technician position is an onsite full-time role and will be based out of our Calgary facility.What you will be doing? Encourage and enforce GMP inspections at every shift.Initiate training for workers concerning Food Safety Programs.Maintain all documentation for the purpose of auditing.Performs RM inspection upon receiving and manage sample retentionRecord and support investigation of food complaintsVerify pest control program implementationCoach employees during production to enhance Food Safety CultureWork with the Sr QA Manager regarding specific information relating to product information and production.Engage in quality calibrations and internal audits and prepare the facility for BRC audit and re-certification.Distribute, review, and update existing sanitation program and follow up on execution.Perform monthly, weekly, and daily Audits of the Premises and Processes; record findings and initiate Corrective Actions.Verify Production Documentation and file accordingly.Qualifications3-4+ years’ proven working experience as QA Technician3 years Manufacturing experience required.Bachelor's degree in science or a related field.Proficiency in MS SuiteAbility to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking, multi-shift environment.Strong communication skills: ability to communicate information clearly.Ability to work collaboratively as a team.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail, fast learner, and quick thinker.HACCP/BRC/Internal audit certificate an assetWhat are we looking for?1.
