Tom Price, Western AustraliaFull-timePackage $128–$135k incl. super & Pilbara allowancesDescriptionResidential – Tom PriceFull TimeIndicative Package Range: $128,748.30 to $135,038.22 which includes superannuation and annual allowances (conditions apply)Annual Leave: 6 weeks p.a.Allowances (Ashburton Allowance, Annual Leave Travel Allowance & Health & Wellbeing Allowance)Super matching schemeAbout The PositionAre you an experienced procurement professional who values integrity, governance, and community impact?We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Senior Procurement Officer to join our team in Tom Price, supporting the Shire’s strategic and operational procurement functions.In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee the efficient, timely, and compliant delivery of all procurement and tendering activities across the Shire. This includes managing the end-to-end administration of tenders, expressions of interest, quotations, and contracts in accordance with Council policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. As a trusted advisor on procurement strategy, compliance, and contract management, you will provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders and support the Deputy Chief Executive Officer in strengthening governance and driving continuous improvement. You will also mentor and develop procurement staff to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality service delivery, while advancing the refinement of procurement frameworks, templates, and procedures. Upholding the highest standards of confidentiality, probity, and integrity will be central to your success in this role.Based in Tom Price, this role provides the opportunity to live and work in a welcoming Pilbara community surrounded by stunning natural landscapes.
