Guided by a customer-first philosophy, Connex focuses on delivering excellence, reliability, and mutual success through strong, collaborative partnerships.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Marketing Specialist based in Colombo.The position is dedicated to supporting Connex’s Microsoft Business Unit, focusing on marketing strategies that amplify Microsoft’s ecosystem including Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Modern Workplace solutions.The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns to strengthen Connex’s Microsoft brand positioning. Core duties include conducting market research, developing targeted go-to-market strategies, managing communications and digital promotions, and collaborating with sales, partner, and vendor teams to drive awareness and engagement. The role will also analyze performance metrics and provide insights to enhance marketing effectiveness and ROI.QualificationsExcellent communication and presentation skills for engaging internal teams, partners, and customers.Strong background in market research, content development, and strategic marketing preferably within the IT or Microsoft ecosystem.Hands-on experience promoting or managing Microsoft solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365).Ability to collaborate with sales and channel teams to align campaigns with business and partner goals.Data-driven and analytical mindset to track KPIs, measure success, and drive marketing improvements.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing is an advantage).
