Institute for Systemic Inflammation ResearchHuman Molecular Immunology (HMI) Lab within the Institute for Systemic Inflammation Research (ISEF) will be newly launched to address various research questions regarding the immunological mechanisms in patients with genetic inflammatory disorders. We are especially focused on the role of different types of inflammatory cell death and how their exacerbation leads to catastrophic consequences in patients with genetic burdens. Our interdisciplinary approaches involve in-vitro, in-cell, and in-vivo experiments.Start in our teamJoin our team and support us starting January 1, 2026, initially limited until July 31, 2026.What we offer: Placement in pay group E9a TV-L, provided the collective agreement requirements are met Full-time employment, currently 38.5 hours/week; part-time work may be possible within certain working-time models Company health management Company pension schemeYour tasks: Purification of recombinant proteins to perform cell-free in-vitro experiments Plasmid DNA design and cloning Transfection of plasmid DNA into mammalian cell lines Conducting animal dissections using genetically modified miceYour profile: Completed training as a medical technical assistant (MTA) or biological technical assistant (BTA) and an interest in immunological research questions Ideally, prior knowledge of intracellular immune signaling Experience with recombinant protein purification is mandatory Experience with plasmid DNA cloning and Western blotting as well as fluent English communication skills are an advantage FELASA-B certificate is mandatoryWe look forward to receiving your application within 01.12.2025, quoting our reference number 27624.
