Deputy Manager Process Improvement & Operations

Job Duties:Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings.Lead process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to enhance operational performance.Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry standards.Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, downtime, cycle time, and material utilization.Support the Operations Manager in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine efficiency (OEE) and reduce process variability.Coordinate trials for new raw materials, formulations, and process changes in collaboration with R&D.Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) standards within the plant.Prepare technical reports and improvement presentations for senior management review.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.5–8 years of experience in process improvement and operations within the rubber, polymer, or manufacturing sector.Sound knowledge of rubber compounding, mixing, molding, extrusion, and curing processes.Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization tools.Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
