They play a crucial role in sourcing and engaging with potential candidates to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for various roles, developing and proactively engaging with talent communities. As a sourcing specialist your expertise in sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and market research contributes to the success of the recruitment process and helps build a strong talent pipeline for the organization’s current, ongoing, and future needs.What You Will DoAttend recruitment briefing meetings as required alongside the Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TA BP) and share insights, processes and outline anticipated sourcing timelines with the hiring manager.Utilize various sourcing strategies, such as online platforms, social media, job boards, and professional networks, to identify potential candidates. Conduct proactive searches and engage passive candidates to build a diverse talent pool.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs. Develop relationships with potential candidates, understand their career aspirations, and keep them engaged throughout the hiring process.Proactively reach out to potential candidates, present job opportunities, and provide information about the organization and its culture.Work in collaboration with marketing to develop creative and engaging collateral to ensure regular communication with potential candidates keeping them engaged and interested in future career opportunities.Stay updated with market trends, industry news, and talent demands. Provide credible and consultative advice and candidate market intel to the client during the entire recruitment lifecycle.Conduct market research to identify new sourcing channels, innovative recruitment strategies, and industry best practices.Review CV’s and applications to assess candidate skills, experience, and suitability for specific roles. Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and provide shortlists to regional TA Business Partners.Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their talent requirements and preferences. Provide guidance and insights on sourcing strategies, candidate profiles, and market conditions.Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system or recruitment database. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.Track and analyze sourcing metrics, such as the number of candidates sourced, engagement rates, and conversion rates. Provide regular reports and insights to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and make data-driven improvements.Requirements4+ Years of proven experience as a sourcing or research specialist or recruiter in a talent acquisition.Working experience in recruiting within the EMEA or US market.Relevant industry/sector sourcing knowledge where required (i.e, technology recruitment expertise).Strong sourcing techniques and familiarity with various sourcing channels and tools.Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, job boards, and professional networks for candidate sourcing.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage candidates effectively, hiring manager and colleagues in HR & Talent Acquisition.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or recruitment databases.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sourcing data and metrics.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.Understanding of employment laws, diversity and inclusion principles, and equal opportunity practices.As a Disability Confident Employer, Robert Walters is committed to offering a fully inclusive and accessible recruitment process to all candidates.
